How to Link to Multiple Records During an Import with Import2

Description

While importing data with Import2, create the links between multiple records at a time in a single step. Link to different objects at a time, such as the links between deals and their contacts and companies. Also link to multiple records of the same objects, such as an email to multiple contacts.

1. Open your CSV file of data to be imported and check that you have columns that identify the records to be linked to

2. For multiple object links, ensure that you have a separate column for each object to link to (i.e. contacts, companies, deals)

3. For links to multiple records of the same object (such as multiple contacts), ensure your identifiers are separated by semi-colon within the column cells

4. When setting up your import mappings, map the lookup fields to create the link(s) during the import
